things are a bit worrisome these days.

I know that my job is secure.  My midyear review is coming up, and I might get promoted if raises are possible.  so we will see about that.  who knows.

lots of people come in with unemployment checks.  it's depressing.  I wish I made more money but it's better than trying to get by on my own with just unemployment and no health insurance.

speaking of which, Obama has GOT to get something through Congress about universal health care!  it would be so amazing to know I could still have my therapy and prescriptions and everything covered without having to stress about losing my job!

I'm using Linux.  Even though I don't know what that is.  I got some weird ass virus on my computer so apparently this is a backdoor way around it.

Somehow WWE is hotter than UFC.  The boys are more all-American.  Since I've gone off the pill, these beefy army types have been really doing it for me!

I batted my eyelashes like a teenager over the weekend.  it was fabulous.

Some of my friends make excuses for front-tuckers.  I say all or nothing!

Also, I'm completed addicted to the news, esp. international politics!

I have lost 21 pounds so far in my quest down to 140.

I still have a ways to go.

I'm so proud of myself.

I'm moving at the end of the month to Wilmington Island.  I'm excited about that.  There is a treadmill there.  That should escalate the weight loss exponentially......and I just need to lay off the beers a little.

moving to Wilmington Island as fast as I can.  as much as I love Tubby's I'm just done with Thunderbolt.  I'm inching towards Tybee but must stay close to the job.

Wesley and I are over.  It was hard but it went over easy.  like my favorite kind of egg.  We obviously care about each other deeply but Clover is just too much on his mind, and getting laid off from Gulfstream and possibly losing his house is just too much for him.

I started Weight Watchers and lost 10 pounds this month.  I'm fitting into clothes I haven't been able to wear in months.  My goal is 8 pounds a month, I should hit my goal by October, and then Hot Tub Tuesdays for Carlie will be Bikini Tuesdays.  I told Melissa she will be my Bikini Shopping Partner even if I have to go to Florida to find a bikini.  Just kidding, i live right next to the BEACH!  HA!  bathing suits year round.

So tomorrow is my first official wedding.  It's for my cousin Marcia and I'm a bit nervous as 70 of my family members and family-members-to-be will be present to watch me be officiating.  I wrote the ceremony and have practiced several times.  When I practiced with my mom she actually cried, so it's gotta be good, right?!?!?! :-)

Overall life is absolutely fantabulous.  I do have to find an apt but that is not going too bad, checked out a place on Wednesday and have another one to look at on Monday.  Wish I could be living with Christina cuz she's got some nice digs, but I'm confident I can find somewhere just as good in the "OP of SAV"!

alright.  so we'll agree that you can be a New Yorker as long as you defeat the Pats a lot.  and the Bills will beat them.  But Miami?  those suckers belong in the NFC, we all know it.

Savannah is SCORCHING HOT.  like 104 degrees at 6pm.  air conditioning is useless at this point.  everyone is being so cranky.  i never want to eat unless it is italian ice which i keep forgetting to buy! 

i went camping over the weekend in North Georgia.  there are mountains up there!  it was beautiful.  there was a huge waterfall and we went hiking and i built an awesome fire and we cooked our food on it and sang silly songs (the Princess Pat....anyone?) and just chilled out and drank beers by the campfire.  there was a bathroom.  no fear.

I have been waking up mad early this week.  even my day off was an 830 meeting.  blah corporate america!!!!  i have laundry to take care of, and my parents are coming this week!

is it Thursday yet?  I want my Tubbys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staying on Thunderbolt now, which is fab. Love the new roomie, love the new man. Jeffrey loves the screen porch and the carpet.

Got to see tons of fam, drink cheap Labatts, and yes, watch some Flavor of Love in my old room.
